Balam

Balam is a very ancient human hybrid Deity. He is truly a free Deity as He never settled anywhere but kept a close and watchful eye on human development. As He states: “I never settled in one place but rather travelled and wandered in solitude and at times gathered followers”. He foretells the future and makes the Satanist invisible by conferring the power to hide from plain view. In most cases, however, Balam finds refuge and defends those Satanists under attack and persecution. Balam is passionate and caring about securing the safety of the devoted Satanist and is very kind and friendly.

Balam is tall, perfectly balanced and solidly muscular. He is a King. He has medium brown hair and eyes. He wears his shoulder length hair free with nothing bounding or restraining it. He provides incredible confidence and fierceness. He lives according to the innocence of the elements and nature. He wears (on special occasions) a sarong with geometrical and rune writings around the edges. He has a long tail with a sharp arrow shape end which He uses to move gracefully and stealthily through the canopy of tree forests.

Balam is accompanied by an Asian Black Bear with fierce red eyes. The bear has a waning crescent moon on his chest and a very big furry face.

Balam brings out the best in the Satanist by activating wit, intellect, and opportunities. Both Balam and His companion bear experienced human persecution, misunderstanding, and judgement. Balam values simplicity, kindness, humility, and honesty.

Balam advises never to lose our internal sense of wonderment and child-like innocence. In Balam’s own words: “Life is an immersive experience lived by regaining and connecting to your innocent self who knows how precious you are to all living creatures. Live simple to simply live!”.
