Stolas
Stolas is a jovial and well-grounded Deity profoundly aware of the intimate connection between the Cosmos and its many secrets. He teaches Astronomy, herbs, and minerals. His approach to the principle of "As Above, So Below" applied to life becomes fully realized in the present.
Stolas manifests as a man in his mid-30's with blue eyes and dark brown undulating hair just below His shoulders, wearing a dark blue satin shirt, black trousers, and leather boots. His wings are cream color laced with gold. His refined and handsome looks only compliment His incredible intellect.
While not original from the Greek Pantheon, Stolas does come from Greek origins. He enjoys the Earth for its bounty of resources and energy. In particular, He rejoices in the smell of olive and citrus trees mixed in with cypress trees and fresh ocean air.
Stolas' Sigil represents the Mind and the connection between the Ether (Spirit/ Akasha) and Humankind.
Stolas was kind enough to provide us with a detailed description of His Sigil. Below are excerpts from His lecture to us:
"The horizontal axis represents the outward trajectory towards the Third Eye or Consciousness. This movement is constant. It always looks to the unknown, waiting for a response. It is in this abyss of unknowing where Humankind faces the challenge to reach fearlessly, with humility, the acceptance of new realities and experiences.
The vertical lines pointing below the horizontal axis are grounding forces that bring balance to your vision and focus. Only one vertical line suggests upward. It watches in silence. It is from this viewpoint that a more excellent idea and solutions become evident. Always step back and look at the more comprehensive picture in all your experiences to recognize patterns that lead to new innovative solutions or missed opportunities.
The upward and downward turns at the perimeters of my Sigil represent the cyclical nature of the cosmos and life itself. It will serve you well to keep a keen eye to cycles in your life to understand yourself and to be patient, always having a forward positive vision and outlook.
Finally, there is one external downward grounding connection. This connection is critical. It represents your grounding connection between your true self and your body. It grounds you through a bio-electrical and magnetic conduit that feeds your body and serves as a storage unit of all your memories and experiences. It is life itself manifested through living matter."
